if I liked cats…
… I’d adore this one!
edit:: (… just so no one things I’m a cat hater…) I might like cats if I wasn’t seriously allergic…. like my throat closes up. I actually did have 2 cats when I was really little but they lived outside. Their names were Cinderella and Tequila. My parents insist I named them both. Hm…
Oh and I am miraculously not allergic to Alyssa’s cat, Stussy.

Today I got this email on Flickr:
“I am writing to let you know that your photos have been short-listed for inclusion in the seventh edition of our London Guide, to be published late June 2009… (blah blah blah)
Best regards,
Emma Williams,
Managing Editor, Schmap Guides”
Excuse me, what?
So it’s not a Nobel prize or anything but it’s still kinda cool. Maybe this is the motivation I need to get my rear in gear with photography. Anyway, Schmap is an online guide of London and while I wouldn’t receive any compensation the photos would link directly back to my Flickr account. Yes, I should definitely start taking more pictures.
Oh and they are Polaroids. Sweet.
memorial day
running late
I was late to work today… for the very first time I might add!
I was 45 minutes late to be exact. Ouch. I would have only been 30 minutes but I stopped at the Coffee Bean to get an (herbal) tea latte and a bagel. Late is late right? But it’s put me in a little bit of a funk all day.
Until I saw these! So happy…
They remind me of going to the Festival of Colors. And the Festival of Colors reminds me of Billie and Brian. And thinking of Billie and Brian reminds me of how awesome they are and I miss them mucho. Lots of color, lots of love, lots of pretty pictures.

little singer
I have no idea what she is singing about but I’m pretty sure I’ll give her anything she asks for.

dujour magazine
My newest love (read obsession) is Dujour Magazine. Thank you Holly for the recommendation! I’m totally smitten.
“Dujour Magazine is sustainably printed-on-demand (which means slightly higher pricing, sorry!), in limited editions of only 1000 copies per issue, packaged beautifully in custom wrapping, with each copy containing an exclusive gift inserted inside. Your magazine will come with its limited edition number printed inside. For those on a budget, we also offer a Digital Edition of each issue below. They have the same content with even more outtakes and pages!”
Is $36 a lot to spend on a magazine? Yes. But how much do you spend on weekly/magazines that you throw away?

finally friday
Have you checked out i don’t like mondays? Cute shop with free shipping and free returns. That’s double free folks. Emily got the most adorable skirt there.
And speaking of Emily… she posted a tutorial on How to: Smoky Eyes. I secretly want to be her. Hm, I guess it’s not a secret anymore.
Joanna posted these clothes from Toast. I love the dresses! And I love Joanna’s blog.
Have you ever heard of anything sweeter than a groom making his bride’s wedding dress? Ahh *swoon face*…

You can read all about it on Smitten, also by the lovely Joanna.
These little guys from ArtMind are so much love.
I have been wanting to make a vision board for awhile now. My aunt and uncle made one and they’ve been having fun with it. You can find a great “how to” here.
Oh and more lovely dresses posted by Chelsea.
Have a wonderful weekend! (I will be working Saturday and Monday which I am not loving, but what do you do? So more posts are on their way I’m sure!)
