Emily Dickinson

It’s all I have to bring today –
This, and my heart beside –
This, and my heart, and all the fields –
And all the meadows wide –
Be sure you count – should I forget
Some one the sum could tell –
This, and my heart, and all the Bees
Which in the Clover dwell.

Apparently it’s National Poetry Day and this is one my favorites. I have a lot so maybe I’ll post another one later. What are yours?

  1. I love everything you post! So sad I missed out on celebrating national poetry day over at the neo-trad…a true tragedy. Oh well, there's always next year. Thanks for sharing this lovely snippet of Dickinson.XX Kate

i'd love to hear from you
