I saw these two necklaces in the May JCrew catalog and that was it. I’m not usually much of a jewelry person but I loved the magnolia shape of the first one and then second one is pretty simple and pretty and looks cute with the first one like in the last photo.

I had every intention of making these Lime Margarita Cupcakes in honor of Cinco de Mayo but it just didn’t happen.

The recipe is courtesy of Crushcakes… the most amazing little cupcakery here in Santa Barbara. I think they are every bit as good as Sprinkles or at least a close second. I’d leave the tequila out of the frosting though since there’s no cooking involved to get the alcohol out. I do love lime.
