This one totally snuck up on me. This week has been insanely busy. I love that. And I bought my plane ticket to Utah – so if the weeks can keep flying by that would be awesome. K, thanks.

My fig obsession is not over. I can’t wait to make this recipe. If you haven’t visited Aran’s blog you should. Her recipes and photography will warm your heart.

I broke down and decided to bring this little guy home with me.

Oh and there’s always this little lunch bag DIY project that I think would be fun -since I have lunch stealing coworkers.

P.S. I didn’t mean to find these awesome chairs but I did. And I love them. They would look very, very cute in my apartment… wherever that may be…

It has been brutally hot this summer and I’m over it. I’m ready for fall and sweaters and hoodies and scarves and jackets and boots. I might be particularly upset with summer today because the a/c at work went out and now I can’t get my house to cool off. I’m guessing it’s about 15 degrees warmer in my house than out.

The good news is the heat is a good excuse to buy a really cute vintage fan. There are my eBay and Etsy faves:

Can you imagine how great it would be if you got a vacation every single week? Well that’s what I’ve got!

You might have another name for this… what’s it called again? Oh that’s right, it’s called a WEEKEND! For the first time in two years I’ve got a weekend… but I’m calling it a vacation. I’m so excited I don’t know what to do with myself. But I think I’m going to love it.
